The Club

The Los Angeles Rams were founded in 1936 as the Cleveland Rams, moved west to Los Angeles in 1946, spent two decades in St. Louis, and came home in 2016 — and since 2020 they have played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, the palace they share with the Chargers. This is a franchise of icons: Eric Dickerson, whose 2,105 rushing yards in 1984 remain the NFL single-season record; Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk of the Greatest Show on Turf; and Aaron Donald, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year. The Rams have won two Super Bowls — XXXIV with that St. Louis team, and LVI, lifted in their own stadium. Searching for a Los Angeles Rams jersey, the latest Rams schedule or Rams tickets? Start with the question every fan asks each fall: when do the Rams play — because in the Rams House, game day is a party.

Last Season (2025): The MVP Year That Fell One Game Short

The 2025 Rams went 12-5, finished second in the NFC West behind 14-3 Seattle — and at 37, Matthew Stafford played the best football of his life. He led the NFL in passing yards (4,707) and passing touchdowns (46) against just 8 interceptions, earned first-team All-Pro honors and finally won the MVP award. An 11-4 start — their best since 2018 — faded when an overtime loss at Seattle in Week 16 cost them the division. The playoffs still delivered: a 34-31 Wild Card win at Carolina, a 20-17 overtime classic at Chicago, and then heartbreak — a 31-27 loss in the NFC Championship at Seattle on January 25, 2026.

Best Players Right Now (2026 Roster)

Matthew Stafford, Quarterback (#9) — The reigning NFL MVP, back and starting at 38. Through six games he leads the NFL in passing yards (1,794) with 11 touchdowns, and against Buffalo on October 12 he threw his 150th touchdown pass as a Ram — the first QB in history with 150+ TD passes for two franchises.

Puka Nacua, Wide Receiver (#12) — A first-team All-Pro in 2025. He missed the opening stretch of 2026, returned at Philadelphia with 9 catches for 125 yards, and has 37 catches for 417 yards in three games.

Kyren Williams, Running Back (#23) — The engine of the offense: 393 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns, plus 30 catches for 217 yards through six games.

Aaron Donald, Defensive Tackle (#99) — Yes, he’s playing. Donald ended his two-year retirement on August 30, 2026, and at 35 the three-time Defensive Player of the Year is anchoring the interior again — carrying even more of the load with the line hit hard by injuries.

Byron Young, Outside Linebacker (#0) — Team-best 3.5 sacks so far in 2026, building on a 12-sack Pro Bowl season a year ago.

Quentin Lake, Safety (#37) — The leader of the secondary, with a team-high 2 interceptions.

Kam Curl, Safety (#3) — The veteran half of a smart safety pairing with Lake.

Nate Landman, Linebacker (#53) — The starting middle linebacker and defensive signal-caller.

Head coach: Sean McVay — In his 10th season in charge, still one of the sharpest offensive minds in football. Note for fans: this all-in roster is being stress-tested — blockbuster trade addition Myles Garrett has been on injured reserve since Week 1 after knee surgery, and Davante Adams joined him on IR.

Star Spotlight: Stories You Should Know

The MVP encore. A year after finally winning MVP at 37, Stafford could have walked away — instead he announced his return at NFL Honors, signed an extension in May, and through six weeks leads the whole league in passing yards. The clock is the real opponent now — and Super Bowl LXI will be played in Stafford’s own building.

#99 is back. Aaron Donald retired in March 2024 as the greatest defensive player of his generation — then the June trade for Myles Garrett lit the fuse. Donald worked out at the team facility all summer and unretired on August 30. The dream pairing of two multi-time DPOY winners — five awards between them — has barely shared the field because of Garrett’s knee injury, so the 35-year-old is carrying a battered front almost like it’s 2021 again.

Puka’s team now. With Davante Adams on injured reserve, the entire passing game runs through Puka Nacua — in the final year of his rookie contract and pushing to become the NFL’s highest-paid non-quarterback. He missed the start of the season, returned with 125 yards in Philadelphia, and now beats double-teams every week.

This Season (2026): Big Yards, Broken Hearts

The record says 2-4, last place in the NFC West — but the numbers tell a stranger story. The Rams average around 401 yards per game, top three in the NFL, and Stafford leads the league in passing, yet they score only about 22.5 points a night and keep losing one-score games: by 4 at Denver, by 3 in overtime to Buffalo, and by 2 to Arizona — who beat them at SoFi without scoring an offensive touchdown. Injuries have gutted the all-in roster: Adams on IR, Garrett out since Week 1, Poona Ford done for the season. Four games behind the 6-0 49ers, the division is nearly gone — the realistic road is a wild card, starting with a must-win at Las Vegas on October 25. The carrot at the end of it all: Super Bowl LXI is at SoFi.

Mark Your Calendar: Upcoming Games to Watch

Check the Rams schedule and grab Rams tickets early — these are the nights that will decide whether the season turns:

  • October 25 — at Las Vegas Raiders: Two straight losses and the season on the line at Allegiant Stadium. This is the reset game.
  • November 1 — vs Los Angeles Chargers: The Battle for LA at SoFi. Two franchises, one building, and the city’s bragging rights on the line.
  • November 25 — vs Green Bay Packers: A Thanksgiving Eve primetime showcase at SoFi on Netflix.
  • December 3 — vs Kansas City Chiefs: Mahomes, Kelce and Kenneth Walker III under the lights at SoFi on Prime Video — the biggest home date left.
  • December 13 — at San Francisco 49ers: The rematch at Levi’s with the 6-0 division leaders who embarrassed the Rams in the opener.

Biggest Rivalries — The Wars

1. San Francisco 49ers — the California war. Running since 1950 and still the NFC West’s main event. The 49ers routed the Rams 27-7 in the 2026 opener in Melbourne and sit 6-0; the December 13 rematch is circled in red.

2. Seattle Seahawks — the ones who ended it. Seattle beat the Rams 31-27 in the NFC Championship at Lumen Field and went on to win Super Bowl LX — with former Ram Cooper Kupp, now a Seahawk, converting the late third down that sealed it. That one still stings.

3. Arizona Cardinals — the little brother’s punch. On October 18, Arizona walked into SoFi and won 18-16 on six field goals without an offensive touchdown — the Rams’ most humiliating loss of the season. The answer comes November 15 in the desert.

4. Los Angeles Chargers — the fight for the building. Two franchises, one stadium, one city. They meet November 1 at SoFi.
